Lee develops media policies and strategies for Korea’s largest IPTV provider, Korea Telecom. Given the media industry is at the frontline of the digital economy, he is also intrigued by ICT innovation. He sets up strategies based on the evaluation of the impacts of technological and regulatory changes revolving around issues such as big data, algorithms and net neutrality on the media platform and content business. His past work includes research on television production and programming at the Korea Broadcasting Institute. He earned an MA from USC and a PhD from Indiana University, where he taught Television Production. Lee also writes reviews on ICT books for the Naver Newsletter.
