Lily Cheng is the CEO and Co-founder of Splashpower, a company focused on realizing the vision of wireless charging. Since the founding of the company, Splashpower has secured over 9 granted patents and further 35 pending applications.
Their featured product ‘SplashPad’ received rave reviews in the international media including CNN prime time news, Fortune Magazine, Nikkei Shimbun, Financial Times and BBC. In addition, the company was awarded a Red Herring Top 100 Global Innovators Award in 2004, a Red Herring Top 100 Europe Private Tech Company in 2005 and was selected by Tornado Insider as one of the Top 100 Best Performing Companies of 2004.
With freelance experience in graphics design, photography, web-animation as well as design training at Central Saint Martins, Ms. Cheng brings a unique combination of entrepreneurial vision and drive, a technical background as well as an appreciation for design to Splashpower.
She received her Bachelors and Masters Engineering degrees with distinction from Cambridge University in 2001.
