Will Engler
Vice President & General Manager, Access Networks, Lucent Technologies
Mr. Engler is responsible for all R&D, product management, and business strategy for Lucent Technologies' Access Networks Business Unit. This business unit includes state-of-the-art multi-service DSLAMs and micro-remote terminals, advanced multi-service DLCs and Optical Network Units, and industry-leading Universal Gateways.
Specifically, the products consist of:
- The Stinger？？ FS/FS+, LS, RT, MRT, and
CellPipe™ products.
- The AnyMedia？？ systems, which include the
FAST shelf, the AnyMedia 800, ONU, and LAG.
- The MAX？？ 6000, MAX TNT？？, the APX？？ 1000,
8000, 8100 Universal Gateway products.
Prior to his current position, Mr. Engler was VP of Business Development, where he was responsible for acquisitions, industry partnerships and new business ventures. He joined Lucent in 1996 and has also held several director positions within the data networking division.
Mr. Engler has a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) from Baruch College in New York City and a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Economics from the State University of New York at Binghamton.
