Chris Deering
Chairman, Handheld Learning / Former CEO, Sony Europe
Chris Deering is the Chairman of Codemasters Group Ltd and Jalipo Ltd. Deering is also the Board Director of In Game Advertising Worldwide and Handheld Learning Ltd. Deering started his career as a consumer-marketing consultant at McKinsey & Co. and continued at Gillette Company, Atari, Spinnaker Software. He first joined Sony Pictures Home Entertainment in 1984 and was named as President and CEO of Sony Computer Entertainment Europe (SCEE). The division, which started up in 1995 launched Playstation 1, Playstation2 and PSP (Playstation Portable), and established subsidiaries in 13 countries and distributors in over 100 other countries. Deering also served on the board of Sony Ericsson Mobile Communications Company.
Deering earned Bachelor of Science at Boston College, School of Management and MBA at Harvard Business School.
