Park, who is the CEO of JYP Entertainment, now has successfully entered the American music market and is actively taking part. He also created strong partnerships with many companies such as SK Telecom, Daum, NCSoft, and Maverick Film and originated strong synergy effect with JYP Entertainment.
He started his career as a singer and a song writer in 1994 and made many best selling records including his own. Many artists who represent Korean pop music are produced by Park, including Rain who is a big hit in Asian contries including Taiwan, Hong Kong, and China.
Also, Park’s JYP Entertainment has established JYP USA in New York, Manhattan, and it is the first Asian recording management firm in united States. He is planning to train new artists and record at the studio in New York.
Park has tried to advance in American music market and has work experiences with records of Will Smith, Mase, Cassie which made to the Billboard top 10. His new artist, Min, recently announced to collaborate in a record with Lil Jon. Park had lectured in Harvard University about the Korean Wave last year.
