Min-Hee Choi
Vice-chairperson, Korean Broadcasting Commission
Choi started her career as a reporter for ‘The Voice of People (Mal)’ in 1985. Since 1985 she worked for Council for Democratic Press Movement as a manager and later on as Member of Central Committee and Director of Business in 1994. From 1998, she served as Director of Education and Public Relations for Citizen’s Coalition for Democratic Media, where she was named Director of Planning and Management and Secretary General. Choi served as Co-chair for Implementation, People’s Action for Media Reform, Co-representative of Citizen’s Coalition for Democratic Media in 2004 and 2006.
Choi is also a researcher of natural health care at National Living Medical Society and have taught at National Living School about pregnancy, birth and childcare. She is currently President of The Korean Mother’s Society for Children’s Wellbeing.
She is the author of the book "Mad Wheelchair", "A Child who Excrete Gold Dung", "President Roh, Common sense or Hope", "A Child who Regained Healthy Skin", "Pure White Love by Mother’s Body" and more.
Choi hold a bachelor’s degree of History from Ewha Womans University
