Walter Rhee
Associate Principal, McKinsey&Company, Seoul Office
Walter Rhee is an Associate Principal in the Seoul Office of McKinsey & Company. Since joining McKinsey in 2001, Mr. Rhee has worked on a range of issues such as corporate and business unit strategy, post-merger management, marketing and operations in high-tech industries such as consumer electronics, semiconductor, telecommunications, private equity and flat panel displays. Mr. Rhee has global experience while working in McKinsey, spending time in the McKinsey Seoul, Dallas, and Houston offices. His relevant experience includes:
Prior to joining McKinsey, Walter spent 5 years with Motorola as a Senior Product Engineer in the Semiconductor Products Sector. There he helped drive the development and manufacturing of high-speed memories, including the introduction of one of Motorola’s 1st Copper interconnect products.
Walter received an M.B.A. in 2001 from the University of Texas at Austin, where he received the Dean’s Award for Academic Excellence. Walter also received a B.S. in Electrical Engineering in 1994 from the University of Texas at Austin.
