Hong-Goo Lee
CEO, Hancom
A management specialist, Hong-goo Lee has been working as a chief executive for over 30 years. Lee is currently the CEO of Hancom, and major international IT firms such as IBM Korea, Compaq Korea, Korea HP and DELL Korea had also been under his management.
Aiming to contribute to the development of Korean IT industry using the know-how he acquired in the global IT business environment, Lee has taken on the CEO position at Hancom in December, 2010. In his two years in the position, Lee has led the strengthening of Hancom’s core competence and the creation of new growth drive for the company. Lee is known to have recreated Hancom as a representative Korean software company through achieving significant growth.
Known for its Korean office software Hancom Office, the company is now competing with domestic and global firms, as it aims toward a specialized office software company in the next-generation software market covering mobile, web, cloud, digital imaging and OSS solutions.
