Simon Seojoon Kim is the co-founder and chief product officer of KnowRe, an online adaptive learning platform for mathematics. KnowRe provides a personalized and engaging learning experience for students around the world.
Simon got an early start both in business and technology when he became the best-selling author of the book Searching for the Eyes of Mathematics, which aimed at helping students better understand math. He attended Pohang University of Science and Technology (POSTECH) where he studied computer science and engineering. After graduation, he founded a popular math academy in South Korea, an experience that was instrumental in the founding of KnowRe. Simon envisions having a positive impact on humanity, making our lives more productive and efficient.
KnowRe was named one of “The World's Top 10 Most Innovative Companies in Education” by Fast Company and won first place for the “Best Instructional App” in the NYC Department of Education's Gap App Challenge. KnowRe recently completed a pilot program involving over 8,000 students in the US, and is now live in the US and Korea.
