Online free education, open access to scientific research, or e-democracy are but building blocks of a modern Age of Enlightenment that has just started. Artificial Intelligence [AI] is the field of computing dedicated to model intelligent behavior, and much is expected from AI in coming years. Apart from mining big data or designing domestic robots, AI also focuses on one of the more intriguing aspects of the humankind: creativity. Francisco Vico will delve into the ingenuity found in biological evolution, how it creates from scratch, and how to embed it into creative machines.
