SDF 2020 will be held in a contactless, virtual face-to-face format. Only online participation is available (Entry to SBS Prism Tower on day of event will be restricted to staff).
SDF2020 begins at 08:30, 30 October 2020. Participants in Part 1 are asked to enter the part on time to ensure smooth live TV broadcast proceedings.
(Participants who enter on time for each part and stay connected until the end will be entered in a drawing to win special prizes).
Participants who engage in conduct that causes other participants and/or the speaker(s) to feel discomfort and/or disgust may be removed from the part, after which re-entry will not be permitted.
We at SBS believe that this year more than ever, the world needs a platform for vibrant exchange of insights and ideas.
SDF 2020 has been organized as a virtual face-to-face forum to enable a dialogue between our speakers and participants that transcends physical distance.
Please ensure your video is turned on throughout the program.
Given the online format of this year’s forum, all registered participants are considered to have provided consent to the public display of their face as part of event proceedings.
Participants’ individual screens may be featured as part of the supersized LED screen used as the backdrop for SDF and displayed on SBS TV and/or other online channels as part of live and/or recorded broadcasts.
Despite this year’s online format, number of participants may be limited.
Those who register to participate will be notified via email or text message of whether their registration has been approved.
Audience participants will participate in the event in real time by connecting to the online virtual forum program (BreakOut/Webex) via PC, laptop, or smartphone.
To ensure there are no connection issues, SDF staff will be contacting participants individually to check the connection environment and explain how to use the program.
